Outdoor low-voltage splicing

These gel-filled B connectors are made for outdoor telephone, security, lighting and irrigation wiring. They accept 22-26 AWG conductors and require no stripping before crimping. The UL Listed rating confirms compliance for low-voltage installations. A pack contains 100 pieces for larger projects.

Capacity and headroom

Each connector is rated for up to 60 volts DC and approximately 1 amp, suitable for alarm sensors and phone lines. They are not designed for AC voltage or higher current loads. The insulation-piercing tines handle solid wire within the stated gauge range. Exceeding the voltage or current rating will cause failure.

Thermals noise and power

The gel filling seals out moisture and corrosion in buried or humid environments. No active cooling or power draw is involved because the connectors are passive components. The PVC outer cover resists UV exposure and physical abrasion. Normal operation adds no audible noise or measurable heat.

Questions about this item

Will these B connectors accept the 22-26 AWG wires I already have in my outdoor lighting run?

Yes, each connector is designed for 22-26 AWG wires and the internal tines pierce the insulation so you can crimp without stripping.

How can I verify the gel seal is intact after crimping?

After crimping with pliers, inspect the connector body; the gel should be visible around the wire entry points and the PVC cover should show no cracks or gaps.

Are the 100 connectors the only items included, or do I need to buy a crimp tool separately?

The package contains 100 gel-filled B connectors; a pair of pliers or a standard crimp tool is required for installation and is not included.
