Product purpose

This set contains twelve metal S hooks measuring 3.55 inch overall. Each hook has a 1.1 inch opening on one side and a locking clip that accepts rods up to .5 inch in diameter. They are intended for home organisers who need secure hanging points for cookware, plants, bags or outdoor decorations.

Installation and common issues

The hooks slide onto the rod and the safety buckle snaps shut by hand, so no tools are required. A frequent problem occurs when the rod exceeds the .5 inch maximum, preventing the clip from closing fully and leaving the load unsecured.

Deciding specification

The critical figure is the .5 inch maximum rod diameter that the locking side can accommodate; if the target rod is thicker the clip will not engage and the hook cannot be used safely.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the safety buckle locks properly on my 0.5 inch rod after installation?

Slide the hook onto the rod until the buckle snaps shut; the 1.1 inch opening should grip the 0.5 inch rod firmly with no lateral play.

What exactly is included in the pack and do I need any extra hardware?

The pack contains 12 steel S hooks with integrated safety buckles; no screws, anchors or tools are supplied or required.

Which hook size should I choose for a standard half-inch closet rod?

These 3.55 inch hooks are made for rods up to 0.5 inch diameter, so the single size offered fits that rod directly.
