Magnetic rechargeable desk lamp

The 1288 desk lamp is a 16.5in magnetic LED bar with a built-in 3600mAh battery and USB-C charging. It suits home offices, shelves and reading spots where a power socket is not convenient. The removable design lets you lift it off the magnetic base for portable use. Touch controls handle power, brightness and colour temperature without a separate remote.

Thermals noise and power

The lamp draws 5W at 5V and runs on two internal 3600mAh cells. A full charge delivers up to 20 hours at minimum brightness or 4 hours at maximum output. Passive cooling keeps the acrylic shade cool to the touch during normal operation. No fan or moving parts means silent performance in quiet rooms.

Accessories and software

The package includes a magnetic mounting base and a USB-C cable for recharging. No driver, app or firmware is required; all adjustments are made directly on the lamp body. The ±88° tilt mechanism lets you direct light precisely for desk work or mirror fill without extra brackets.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 16.5in lamp to a shelf and what step do people skip?

Snap the included magnetic base onto any ferrous surface, then press the lamp into the base until it clicks; the step often missed is cleaning the mounting spot so the magnet holds full strength.

What part will need replacement first on the 1288 and when?

The two internal 3600mAh batteries are not user-replaceable; after roughly 500 full charge cycles runtime drops noticeably, at which point the whole unit is usually swapped.

How long does the 240-lumen output last at max brightness before the battery gives out?

At the highest setting the lamp runs for about 4 hours on a full charge; lower settings extend that up to 20 hours.
