12-piece glass-tube cleaning kit

This kit contains twelve reusable brushes designed for narrow glass tubes, funnels and bottles. It includes one 17-inch long-handled anti-static brush, ten 8.2-inch nylon brushes in diameters from 1/16 inch to 1 inch, and one 35-inch flexible double-ended hose brush. The brushes use nylon bristles and stainless-steel stems for repeated push-pull cleaning.

Replaces single-purpose bottle brushes

A single fixed-diameter brush cannot reach the u-bend or fit both narrow and wide tubes. This set covers diameters from .6 by 2.2 inches up to 1.5 by 2.6 inches on the flexible head, while the long handle reaches deep vases and flasks. The jump is worth it when you regularly clean aquarium hoses, pet fountains, refrigerator drains or laboratory glassware of varying bore.

Fits home, lab and automotive maintenance

The kit needs only a sink or basin for rinsing; no power or specialised holders are required. Its compact 4.5 by 8.2 by 40.4 centimetre package stores in a drawer or toolbox and weighs .11 kilograms. The range of diameters frees you from buying separate brushes for each tube size, and the flexible 35-inch tool reaches corners rigid brushes cannot.

Questions about this item

What diameter openings do the 10 nylon tube brushes cover?

The 10 nylon brushes range from 1/16 inch up to 1 inch diameter, matching the 8.2-inch length spec for narrow straws and wider tubes.

How do I use the 35-inch flexible double-ended brush without damaging the 0.6 x 2.2 inch or 1.5 x 2.6 inch heads?

Push the flexible shaft gently through bends; the stainless-steel core follows U-traps while the nylon bristles scrub — never force the larger head past tight elbows.

When should I replace the 17-inch long-handled anti-static brush and the 12-piece kit overall?

Replace individual brushes when bristles fray or stainless wire kinks; the anti-static brush lasts until fibres no longer lift dust from glass funnels or vases.
