Digital Action RPG for Windows

Borderzone is a downloadable role-playing action game published by 1C Online Games. The non-linear storyline lets you choose a profession such as mage, thief or soldier and build a party of up to five adventurers. Activation requires a Steam account and the product key is delivered online. The title is blocked in several countries including RU, UA and VE.

Upgrade from older RPGs or first play

The game originally released in 2005 and runs on Windows XP, 7 and 8 with modest hardware. Moving from earlier single-character titles is worthwhile if you want party-based tactical combat and branching quest lines. The jump makes sense for players who enjoy open-ended character development and non-linear exploration on legacy systems.

Check region lock and Steam compatibility

Verify that your country is not on the blocked region list before purchasing. A Steam account is mandatory for activation and installation. Ensure the PC meets the minimum 700 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM and a Direct3D compatible graphics card with 32 MB video memory. Disable music on Windows 7 or 8 if audio issues occur.
