What Unknown Fate Is

Unknown Fate is a first-person adventure game developed by Marslit Games and published by 1C Online Games. You play as Richard, who shifts from reality into a surreal universe filled with puzzles and bizarre creatures. The game requires a Steam account for activation and runs on PC. Region restrictions block activation in several countries including Russia, Iran and North Korea.

Installing and Activating

Installation is handled entirely through the Steam client after redeeming the supplied code. An internet connection is mandatory for the initial activation and download. The most common issue is attempting redemption from a blocked region, which Steam will reject. No physical media is included, so a stable connection is needed for the full download before play.

Playing Over Long Sessions

The game supports seated, room-scale and standing play areas with HTC Vive headsets and tracked motion controllers. Keyboard, mouse and gamepad input are also available for non-VR sessions. Extended VR sessions may cause fatigue depending on your play-space setup and personal tolerance. The story-driven structure lets you pause progress at natural breaks between puzzle areas.
