How do I confirm the game activates and runs after I enter the Steam code?

Launch Steam, redeem the 64527 key, wait for the download to finish, then start the game — the main menu and first level should load without errors on a Windows 7 64-bit system with a 2.5 GHz CPU and 4 GB RAM.

What exactly arrives in the purchase email and do I need any extra hardware?

You receive a single Steam activation code for Dread Templar; no disc, manual or additional hardware is included — only a Steam account and an internet connection are required.

Which version of Dread Templar should I pick for immediate play on PC?

The only edition sold under model 64527 is the standard Early Access release from 13 August 2021, delivered as a Steam key for Windows — choose this if you want the current build and future updates.
