Digital racing code for legacy Windows

AIM Racing delivers a Steam-activated download key for a futuristic racing title set on the dusty world of Polygon-4. The product is a new, region-locked code published by 1C Online Games under model 42379. Activation requires a Steam account and an internet connection. The game installs directly through the Steam client once the code is redeemed.

Suits retro-PC enthusiasts with Steam access

This release targets owners of older Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP machines who want a period-correct racing experience on the Steam platform. Buyers in blocked regions including RU, UA, CN, IR and others listed in the specifications cannot activate the key. Players seeking modern graphics features, controller support beyond keyboard or mouse, or multiplayer servers will not find them here.

Minimum video requirement: GeForce 4200

The entry specification calls for an NVIDIA GeForce 4200 or ATI Radeon 9500 graphics card paired with a Pentium 4 at 1.5 GHz and 384 MB RAM. A recommended configuration steps up to a GeForce 6800 or Radeon x800 with a 2.5 GHz Pentium 4 and 512 MB RAM. Both tiers need 2.5 GB of free disk space and a DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card.

Questions about this item

Is there more than one version of AIM Racing to choose from?

Only the single Steam download edition with product code 42379 is offered.

What does the Pentium 4 1.5 GHz requirement mean for playing today?

How does the Steam DRM affect installation?

A Steam account is mandatory — the code activates the title in your library and the client handles download and updates.
