Compact Two-Pack Lens Kit

The 2-CAT-LNS-BOX supplies two small contact lens cases in grey, each bundled with a solution bottle, tweezers, a stick connector, a lens holder and a mirror. The set is designed for travellers and outdoor enthusiasts who need to keep soft, rigid gas permeable or hard lenses clean and accessible while away from home. Everything fits in a pocket, purse, backpack or car glove box.

Daily Hygiene Routine

The cases are intended solely for storage during chemical disinfection; heat disinfection must not be used. Rinsing the cases with tap water is prohibited because water can harbour microorganisms that cause serious eye infections. Replacing the case every three months is advised to maintain a hygienic environment for the lenses.

Ready-to-Use Assembly

All components — case, bottle, tools and mirror — arrive pre-packaged together, so no separate parts have to be sourced or assembled before first use. The push-lock closure secures the lids during transport. The only common issue is forgetting to swap the case after the recommended three-month period, which defeats the hygiene purpose.

Questions about this item

Does the plastic case or the included mirror bottle get warm or make any noise when carried all day in a pocket?

The case and bottle are passive storage items with no electronics, so they produce no heat or sound during all-day carry.

What contact-lens solution must I already have to use the included bottle, tweezers and stick remover?

You need your own multi-purpose or hydrogen-peroxide disinfecting solution; the kit only provides the empty bottle and tools for handling lenses.

Will the push-lock lid stay secure if I keep using my older rigid gas-permeable lenses in these cases?

Yes, the push-lock closure works with soft, RGP and hard lenses, so your existing RGP lenses will stay sealed inside.
