Questions about this item

Will the Steam activation code ever expire or need to be replaced?

The Steam code activates the game once; after that the licence stays in your Steam library and does not expire.

What is the first hardware bottleneck I will hit on the minimum spec?

The 256 MB video memory on a GeForce 8600 GT or Radeon HD 2600 XT limits texture detail before the 2 GHz dual-core CPU does.

How much heat and power should I expect from a PC running this all day?

The game targets modest hardware — 2 GHz dual-core CPU and a 256 MB GPU — so sustained load stays low on modern systems.
