Borderlands 3 Bounty of Blood DLC

This downloadable expansion adds a new frontier planet to Borderlands 3 for Xbox One owners. Players hunt the Devil Riders gang across the town of Vestige on Gehenna. The content is rated M for Mature and fits the shooter, action and RPG genres. A digital code delivers the DLC directly to the account.

Installation notes and common issues

Redeem the supplied code on the Xbox Store to add the expansion to the base game. The process requires an Xbox One console or the Xbox app with an active internet connection. The most frequent problem is entering the code on the wrong Microsoft account, which locks the licence to that profile. Ensure the base game is already installed before redeeming.

Xbox One DRM requirement

This edition uses Xbox One DRM, so it only works on that platform family. Buyers who play on PlayStation, PC or other systems cannot use the code. The DLC launches on June 25, 2020 and cannot be accessed before that date. No physical media is included.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Borderlands 3 Bounty of Blood DLC 3 is active after redeeming the digital code on Xbox One?

After redeeming the 7D4-00568 code on your Xbox One, the add-on will appear in the Manage Game add-ons section for Borderlands 3 and the Vestige frontier planet content unlocks in-game starting 25 June 2020.

What does the digital download package include and is the base Borderlands 3 game required separately?

The download delivers only the Bounty of Blood DLC 3 add-on for Xbox One; the full Borderlands 3 base game must already be owned or purchased separately to play the new Vestige storyline.

Which edition of the Borderlands 3 add-on should I choose if I want the Devil Riders bounty hunter campaign?

Choose the 7D4-00568 model listed as DLC 3 Edition — it is the specific Bounty of Blood expansion that adds the Gehenna frontier planet and Devil Riders gang content.
