2K GAMES G3Q-01361 The Quarry Xbox Series X|S downloadable game

Digital horror adventure for Xbox

The Quarry is a narrative-driven action adventure game published by 2K Games for Xbox Series X and S. Players guide nine teenage counselors through a night of supernatural horror at Hackett's Quarry. Every decision shapes the branching story and determines which characters survive until dawn. The M-rated title delivers a cinematic experience with Hollywood performances and filmic lighting.

Branching narrative under player control

The story reacts continuously to choices made during exploration, dialogue and quick-time events. No two playthroughs follow the same path because each decision alters relationships, opens or closes scenes and changes who lives or dies. Online multiplayer supports up to seven additional participants who watch and vote on pivotal choices, turning a single session into a shared storytelling event. Local couch co-op lets each player take direct control of a different counselor.

Optimised for modern console hardware

The digital code installs directly to the console SSD, eliminating disc noise and reducing load times between scenes. Graphical fidelity scales to the capabilities of Xbox Series X and S, maintaining stable frame rates during intense sequences. Adjustable difficulty settings let players focus on narrative or challenge without affecting the core branching structure. The Horror History Visual Filter Pack adds three cinematic looks that recreate distinct horror-film aesthetics.
