Questions about this item

How is the 3CR990-TX-97 installed in a PCI slot, and what step is often missed?

Power off the system, insert the card firmly into an available PCI slot, secure the bracket screw, then install the driver so the 10/100 Secure NIC is recognised by the operating system.

What maintenance or replacement will the 3CR990-TX-97 need over time?

The adapter has no moving parts; keep the PCI contacts clean and replace the card only if the 10/100 link fails or the bracket is damaged.
