Digital action RPG for Windows

Bombshell is a downloadable action role-playing game published by 3D Realms. Players control mercenary Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison in an isometric combat campaign. The title activates through a Steam account and requires a 64-bit Windows installation. Activation is restricted in several listed countries.

Minimum and recommended specifications

The minimum setup needs 4 GB RAM, a GTX 550 or Radeon 7870 with 2 GB memory, and 10 GB storage space on Windows 7 SP1 or 8.1. Recommended specs call for 6 GB RAM, a GTX 760 or Radeon 7950 with 3 GB memory, and 20 GB storage. DirectX 9.0c is the baseline; DirectX 11 is advised for the recommended tier.

System load and thermal profile

Meeting the recommended processor such as an Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350 keeps frame rates steady in dense combat scenes. The minimum CPU of an Intel Core i5-750 or AMD Phenom II X4 965 will run the game but may drop frames during heavy particle effects. Graphics cards at the minimum tier run warmer and louder under sustained load than the recommended models.

Questions about this item

Will Bombshell run on my older PC with a GTX 550 and 4 GB RAM?

The minimum specs list a GTX 550 with 2 GB VRAM and 4 GB system RAM, so the game should launch on that hardware at low settings.

How can I verify the game activated correctly on Steam?

After redeeming the code, Bombshell will appear in your Steam library with a Play button; launching it confirms the licence is active.

Does the purchase include a physical disc or only the Steam code?

The product is a downloadable Steam code only; no disc, manual or additional hardware is supplied in the box.
