Questions about this item

Does this ear muff need any power source or batteries to achieve its 21 dB attenuation?

No, the 3M 08062 provides 21 dB of passive noise reduction through its ABS and stainless-steel cups; no batteries or electronics are required.

Will the low neckband on this model interfere with a hard hat I already wear on site?

The behind-the-head neckband sits low on the neck, so it typically clears most hard-hat suspensions and allows the hat to remain secure.
