Allergen Filter 2000DC-6

The 3M 16x20x1 Allergen Filter 2000DC-6 is an air intake filter designed for HVAC systems in residential or light commercial settings. It captures airborne particles to help maintain cleaner indoor air quality. The unit weighs 0.652 units and features a blue frame. It is sold new as a single replacement component.

Blue Frame Identification

The blue colour of the frame allows for quick visual identification when checking or replacing the filter inside a return grille or air handler. This colour coding helps maintenance staff distinguish this specific allergen-rated model from standard fibreglass or pleated alternatives during routine inspections. No additional accessories or mounting hardware are included in the package.

Homes Needing Allergen Reduction

This filter suits households or small offices looking to reduce common airborne allergens such as dust, pollen and lint through the central ventilation system. It is not intended for industrial dust collection, paint booths or cleanroom environments requiring HEPA-grade efficiency. Buyers needing activated carbon for odour control or higher MERV ratings for smoke removal should evaluate other product lines.
