Green crepe-paper painter's tape, 24 mm wide and 55 m long, with rubber adhesive for clean removal from concrete, glass, metal, paint, stone or wood up to 200 °F
3M 2060 is a green crepe-paper tape with rubber adhesive designed for rough-surface masking on concrete, glass, metal, paint, stone and wood. It serves painters and contractors who need clean removal up to five days after application. The 15 mil backing resists tearing during handling and conforms to uneven textures.
As a passive adhesive tape the product generates no heat, emits no sound and consumes no electrical power during normal use. Performance is limited to the mechanical bond between backing and substrate. No thermal management, fan noise or power budget applies.
Under continuous exposure the tape withstands temperatures up to 200 °F while maintaining adhesion rated at 28 oz/in to steel. Clean-removal window remains five days regardless of duration within the temperature range. Minimum performance temperature is not rated, so extended cold exposure should be evaluated on site.

Press the crepe paper backing firmly into the texture so the rubber adhesive contacts the peaks; skipping full contact leaves gaps that bleed paint.
Remove within 5 days; the rubber adhesive is rated for clean removal up to that point.
Performance is rated up to 200 °F; sustained heat beyond that limit reduces adhesion first.
