Industrial masking tape for assembly and repair

3M 2519 masking tape is a kraft paper roll with rubber adhesive designed for indoor assembly, manufacturing, automotive, construction and general maintenance tasks. It adheres to paper, wood and steel surfaces. The roll measures 48 mm wide by 55 m long and is 7.1 mil thick.

Replaces lower-adhesion or heat-sensitive tapes

Switching is worthwhile when a job demands 47 oz/in adhesion to steel and clean removal within 30 minutes without residue. The tape performs continuously up to 200 degrees F, so it suits processes that exceed the temperature limits of standard masking products.

Holds bond during extended high-temperature cycles

Under sustained load the rubber adhesive maintains grip on steel, paper and wood at elevated temperatures up to 200 degrees F. The kraft paper backing resists tearing during prolonged clamping or masking operations, and the roll format supports continuous dispensing for long production runs.
