60 Grit SandBlaster Clip-On Sandpaper

The 3M 9650 pack supplies 80 sheets of 60 grit abrasive designed for finishing sanders. Each clip-on sheet uses a fiber, mineral and resin construction coloured green. The material is chemical resistant and meets HACCP standards for multipurpose use.

Replaces worn or clogged sheets on clip

Swapping to fresh 60 grit restores aggressive stock removal when existing pads no longer cut efficiently. The upgrade is worth it when surface preparation slows down or when the old abrasive loads with residue and stops biting.

Fits clip-on finishing sanders that accept 3

The sheets mount without tools and need no separate handle. Chemical resistance lets them work with common solvents or cleaners without breaking down. The 80 count bulk pack keeps replacements on hand so the sander stays productive.

Questions about this item

What sander pad size does the 3M 9650 clip-on sheet fit?

The 3M 9650 sheet is designed for a 3 in. x 9 in. finishing sander pad. The clip-on mechanism secures it directly to that pad size.

How do you attach the 3M 9650 sheet to the sander, and what step is often missed?

Align the sheet with the pad, then press the clip ends firmly into the sander's clamps until they lock. The step often missed is fully seating both clips so the sheet cannot shift during use.

How many 60 grit sheets are in the 80 pack, and when should they be replaced?

The pack contains 80 sheets. Replace a sheet when the 60 grit mineral abrasive no longer cuts effectively or the fiber-resin backing shows wear.
