Pack of ten 220-grit silicon-carbide sanding screens, 11 1/4 by 4 3/16 inches, resist clogging, tearing and water
This pack contains ten silicon carbide sanding screens built for drywall finishing and light surface preparation. The open-mesh screen backing resists clogging and tearing while allowing dust to pass through. Each sheet measures 11 1/4 inches by 4 3/16 inches and is graded very fine for smooth results.
Sheets attach to standard hand sanders or pole sanders using the tool's built-in clamps; no adhesive is required. Because the screen is flexible, it conforms to corners and seams without creasing. The main mistake is applying too much pressure, which can tear the mesh or leave uneven scratch patterns on soft compound.
Verify that your sanding tool accepts sheets of this length and width so the clamps engage securely. Confirm that 220 grit matches the finish stage you need; coarser or finer grades will require different screens. Ensure the work area can accommodate wet sanding if you plan to use water for dust control.

The screen should produce a fine, even dust and leave a uniformly smooth surface without deep scratches; clog-resistant coating keeps the abrasive exposed during use.
The package contains ten 11 1/4 in by 4 3/16 in silicon carbide screens; a compatible sanding pole or hand sander with screen clips is required and sold separately.
Select 220 grit for final sanding before priming or between finish coats where a very fine surface is needed; coarser grits remove material faster but leave a rougher profile.
