3M Abrasive Utility Cloth Sheets 314D Aluminum Oxide P120 Pack of 50

3M Utility Cloth Sheets P120 Pack of 50

These aluminium oxide cloth sheets are designed for hand sanding and light machine finishing on metal, wood and composite surfaces. The J-weight cloth backing resists tearing and can be ripped into strips or rolled without shedding abrasive grains. A pack of 50 sheets supplies enough material for extended workshop use or multiple small jobs.

Practical limits of the P120 grit

The P120 grade removes material at a moderate rate and leaves a surface that still requires finer grits for a smooth finish. Cloth backing tolerates heat and flexing better than paper but will load with soft metals or resinous woods unless cleaned frequently. Sheets are flat and not pre-cut for orbital or belt machines, so they must be sized by the user for powered tools.
