3M Command Decorating Clip Clear 40 Pack 17026

Clear Decorating Clips 40 Pack

This pack contains forty clear plastic decorating clips and forty-eight adhesive strips. They are designed for hanging lightweight decorative items on walls, windows and other smooth surfaces. The clips suit renters and homeowners who want a damage-free way to display seasonal or everyday decorations. No tools or permanent fixtures are required.

Installation and Common Issues

Each clip bonds to paint, wood, tile and similar surfaces by pressing the adhesive strip firmly in place. The strips remove cleanly without leaving holes, marks or sticky residue when pulled slowly along the wall. Installation fails most often when the surface is dusty, textured or freshly painted, so clean and dry the area first. Clips cannot be repositioned once the strip has set.

Capacity and Limits

Every clip holds up to 0.15 lb, so it handles light paper, thin card or small ornaments with ease. Heavier frames, wreaths or bundled lights will exceed the rating and may fall. The clear plastic stays discreet on glass or coloured walls but offers no structural reinforcement for larger loads. For anything beyond the stated limit, a different mounting method is needed.
