This 3M EPS200 heat shrink tubing is a polyolefin conduit with an adhesive lining. It is designed for automotive and general electrical insulation tasks where a 2:1 shrink ratio is required. The tubing fits wire sizes from 20 AWG to 18 AWG. It is sold as a pack of 12 individual pieces, each measuring 4 ft in length.

Adhesive Lined Polyolefin Changes Sealing

The adhesive lining melts during the shrinking process to create a moisture resistant seal around the connection. This provides abrasion resistance and protection against acids and alkalis. The material is flame retardant and remains flexible across a temperature range of -67 Degrees to 230 Degrees F. The black colour allows for standard identification in wiring looms.

Heat Gun Install Needs 250 Degrees F Minimum

A heat gun or similar tool must reach at least 250 Degrees F to activate the shrink and adhesive flow. The inner diameter shrinks from 0.19 in to 0.09 in with a final wall thickness of 0.03 in.
