Heat-shrink tubing for 12–8 AWG wire

This pack contains ten clear pieces of 3M FP301 thin-wall tubing, each six inches long. The material is flexible polyolefin that shrinks at a 2:1 ratio when heated. It covers wire gauges from 12 AWG down to 8 AWG for insulation and strain relief. The tubing is flame retardant and rated for 600 volts dielectric strength.

Acid- and solvent-resistant polyolefin

After shrinking the inside diameter reduces from 0.38 in to 0.19 in with a 0.03 in wall thickness. The tubing resists acids, alkalis and common solvents without an adhesive lining. Individual pieces allow precise lengths for each joint or repair. Minimum shrink temperature is 212 degrees Fahrenheit using a heat gun or similar tool.

Operating range from -67 °F to 275 °F

The wide temperature span suits automotive, marine and industrial environments. Clear colour lets you inspect the underlying connection after installation.
