Nylon-insulated ring terminals accept 16-14 AWG wire onto a #6 stud, 100 per pack
These 3M ring terminals accept 16 to 14 AWG wire and fit a #6 stud. The blue nylon insulation is rated for 600 V and 221 °F. Each pack contains 100 crimp-type connectors suited for automotive or general electrical work.
The copper barrel with brazed seam handles up to 600 V and a maximum temperature of 221 °F. Nylon insulation resists heat and abrasion during normal operation. No active cooling or power draw is involved with these passive components.
Overall length measures 0.81 in with a tongue width of 0.25 in. The crimp connection method requires an appropriate tool for secure termination. Blue colour coding aids quick identification in dense wiring looms.

Strip the wire to the correct length, insert fully into the barrel, and crimp with a ratchet tool matched to 16-14 AWG; the step most often missed is verifying the crimp with a go/no-go gauge before heat-shrinking.
Inspect each connection for cracked blue nylon insulation, corrosion on the copper barrel, or loose crimps after thermal cycling; replace any terminal showing discoloration or mechanical damage.
The 221 °F maximum operating temperature is the first limit reached; continuous current that raises the terminal above this value degrades the nylon insulation and weakens the crimp joint.
