Vinyl-insulated fork terminal crimps onto 18 AWG wire and fits a #6 stud for 600 V circuits
This 3M fork terminal accepts 18 AWG copper wire and fits a #6 stud. It is rated for 600 V maximum voltage and uses vinyl insulation coloured red. The crimp-style barrel has a butted seam and tin-plated copper contact material. It is suited for electrical panel work and terminal block connections.
This part covers one wire size and one stud size only. It does not suit applications that require a different wire gauge or a larger stud. Buyers who need high-temperature insulation beyond 221 degrees F should look at a different product. The partial coverage design also leaves the barrel end exposed.
The red vinyl sleeve provides basic dielectric protection and quick visual identification. A butted seam allows the barrel to close evenly under a standard crimp tool without a brazed joint. Tin plating on the copper contact resists oxidation in terminal block installations. The .25 in tongue length fits standard block spacing.

This terminal accepts 18 AWG wire; strip the insulation, insert the conductor fully into the butted barrel, and crimp with a tool rated for that gauge.
The vinyl insulation is rated to 221 °F, so it withstands higher heat than many legacy PVC terminals; keep all connections within the 600 V limit.
Perform a firm tug test on the wire, verify the conductor is visible through the barrel inspection window, and check that the fork tongue sits flat against the #6 stud.
