23" 16:9 Privacy Filter

This 3M privacy filter fits 23-inch widescreen monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It uses microlouver technology to darken the screen for anyone viewing from outside a 60-degree angle. The filter helps keep confidential data visible only to the person directly in front of the display. It is suited for open offices and high-traffic workspaces.

Reversible Gloss and Matte Surfaces

The frameless design adds a lightweight layer that shields the panel from dust, debris and scratches. You can choose between a glossy side for clarity or a matte side that reduces glare and hides fingerprints. Two attachment methods are included for a secure fit on flat or curved displays. The filter measures 20.08 inches wide by 11.30 inches high.

Blue Light Reduction and Touch Support

The filter cuts 35% of blue light transmission from the screen to reduce eye strain during long sessions. It maintains touch compatibility on supported devices so interactive workflows are not interrupted. Cleaning only requires a soft cloth and water. The accessory ships new and ready for assembly.

Questions about this item

What viewing angle does the 60-degree microlouver privacy filter restrict visibility to?

The microlouver technology blacks out the screen for anyone viewing from side angles outside the 60-degree viewing cone, so only a user centred in front of the monitor sees the content.

What are the exact filter dimensions that must match my 23-inch 16:9 monitor?

The filter measures 20.08 inches wide by 11.30 inches high (510 mm x 287 mm), matching a diagonally measured 23-inch widescreen display with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Which attachment method should I choose, and what is the common mistake during installation?

The pack supplies two easy attachment options; the frequent error is applying the filter before cleaning the screen, which traps dust and causes bubbles.
