3M PF27.0W9 Privacy Filter 27" 16:9

This 3M privacy filter fits widescreen desktop LCD monitors with a 27 1/16 inch diagonal and 16:9 aspect ratio. The filter measures 598 mm wide by 337 mm high. It uses microlouver technology to show content only to the person directly in front of the screen. A reversible matte surface reduces glare and protects the display from dirt and scratches.

Suits open offices and shared workspaces

Professionals who handle confidential data in high-traffic areas benefit from the 60-degree viewing angle restriction. The frameless, lightweight design adds minimal bulk to the monitor. Buyers who need privacy on curved screens, non-16:9 aspect ratios, or monitors with different diagonal measurements should look at something else.

Critical specification: 598 mm x 337 mm filter

The filter must match the monitor's exact viewable area of 598 mm wide by 337 mm high. Measure the active display area before purchasing. If the screen dimensions differ, this filter will not fit correctly.

Questions about this item

What are the exact millimetre dimensions of the 27" 16:9 privacy filter so I can check it matches my monitor's viewable area?

The filter measures 598 mm wide by 337 mm high, matching a 27" widescreen LCD with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Which attachment method should I choose for a frameless monitor, and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Use the adhesive strips on a clean, dry bezel; the mistake is applying them before removing all dust and oils, which causes the filter to detach.

How do I clean the filter without damaging the microlouver layer, and how often should I replace it?

Wipe gently with a soft cloth dampened with water only; replace the filter if scratches or delamination appear, as the microlouver layer cannot be repaired.
