Fits 24.0 in 16:9 monitors

The 3M privacy filter is sized for 24.0 inch full-screen displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It uses microlouver technology to black out side views beyond a 60-degree viewing angle. The filter is reversible between a glossy side and a glare-reducing matte side. It also helps reduce blue light without distorting display colours.

Check flat glass and magnetic clearance

Verify that your monitor has a flat glass front surface before ordering. The 3M COMPLY Magnetic Attach system relies on rare-earth magnets that click the filter into place. Ensure the bezel or frame does not block the magnetic contact area. The filter adds a thin layer measuring 1.3 inches in depth.

Suits open-plan and shared workspaces

This filter suits professionals who need on-screen privacy in open offices, hot-desking areas or public spaces. The quick-click magnetic design allows instant switching between privacy and screen sharing. It is not for users with curved monitors, ultra-thin bezels that prevent magnetic seating, or those who require a permanent adhesive mount.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy magnets or adhesive strips separately?

The package contains one privacy filter with the magnetic attach system built in; the rare-earth magnets are 100 times stronger than refrigerator magnets and click the filter onto a flat glass monitor, so no extra mounting hardware is required.

Which version should I choose for my 24.0 inch 16:9 monitor?

Select the PF240W9EM model, which is sized at 11.93 inches high by 21.26 inches wide and matches a 24.0 inch full-screen display with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

What does the 60-degree viewing angle mean when I am working at my desk?

Anyone looking from outside a 60-degree cone centred on the screen sees a blacked-out display, while you see a clear, high-resolution image; the filter also reduces blue light without distorting colour and can be flipped to a matte side that cuts glare and hides fingerprints.
