Heavy-Duty Dishwand Kit

The 3M Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Dishwand Kit includes one wand and two refill pads for tackling stubborn grease and grime. It suits home cooks and cleaners who want to keep their hands away from the mess while scrubbing cookware, surfaces and grout. The built-in soap dispenser and food scraper add convenience for daily kitchen cleanup tasks. Refill heads swap out quickly when worn.

Cleaning Performance

The heavy-duty scrubbing fibers deliver 20x more scrubbing power than the leading temperature-reactive dishwand alternative. Fibres are made from 100% recycled content and are safe for use on non-coated cookware, oven grates, concrete, porcelain, wood, glass, plastic, stone, tile and grout. The wand handle stores pointed down to prevent soap leakage between uses. The scrubber head cleans easily in the dishwasher top rack.

Upgrade Considerations

This kit replaces basic sponges or standard dishwands that lack a scraper and soap reservoir. The jump is worth it for users who regularly face baked-on food and need a durable, replaceable scrubbing surface. It is not suited for delicate non-stick coatings or surfaces that require a non-abrasive touch. Buyers needing a longer reach or specialised brush shapes should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the refill pad onto the wand, and what step do people often miss?

Snap the refill head onto the wand until it clicks; the step people miss is storing the wand handle-down after use to prevent soap from leaking out of the dispenser.

What part will need replacement later and how often?

The scrubbing pad is the replaceable component; swap it when the 100% recycled fibers wear down and no longer remove stuck-on grease or grime effectively.

What is the first limitation I will hit during a long cleaning session?

The 0.018 kg wand relies on manual pressure, so user fatigue on wrists and arms becomes the limiting factor before the scrubbing surface loses its 20x scrubbing power.
