3M Temflex 165 vinyl tape for automotive wiring

This 3M Temflex 165 vinyl electrical tape comes in a three-pack of black rolls. Each roll is 60 ft long and 3/4 in wide. It is designed for multi-purpose insulation on car electronics and general wiring. The PVC backing resists abrasion, moisture, alkalis, solvents and acids.

Capacity and headroom for insulation tasks

The tape withstands a temperature range of 32 to 194 °F (0 to 90 °C). Dielectric strength is rated at 1000 V/mil with elongation at break of 200. Adhesion to steel measures 18 oz/in using a rubber adhesive. It is UL Listed, CSA and VDE certified for electrical insulation.
