25 sheets of 220-grit silicon carbide abrasive for wet or dry finishing of lacquer, varnish and enamel
This pack contains 25 sheets of 9 x 11 inch silicon carbide abrasive rated at 220 grit very fine grade. It is suited for woodworkers, automotive painters and DIY refinishers who need a consistent cut on lacquer, varnish, enamel and synthetic coatings.
As a non-powered hand abrasive, the product generates no heat, noise or electrical draw during use. Performance depends entirely on the pressure and motion applied by the user whether sanding wet or dry.
Each sheet uses a flexible paper backing that conforms to flat or contoured surfaces without tearing. The silicon carbide mineral stays sharp for a uniform finish and the 25-sheet pack supports multiple project stages from initial levelling to final polishing.
Measured against everything we stock in Utility & Specialty Hand Tools, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Cut or fold the sheet to fit your sanding block, soak it in water for several minutes until fully saturated, then attach it securely; the step many skip is the thorough soak, which prevents the abrasive from loading and scratching the finish.
Each sheet wears as the silicon carbide dulls; rinse frequently while sanding to clear slurry, and replace a sheet once the grit feels smooth or the cut rate drops noticeably — the pack provides enough sheets for multiple panel jobs.
The very fine grit loads with removed material fastest, so clogging becomes the limiting factor before the backing tears; keeping the surface wet and rinsing the sheet often extends usable life.
