Portable 10 W Megaphone

The 5 Core 8R megaphone delivers 10 W of output so speech can be heard at distances up to 200 metres. A built-in siren alarm with adjustable volume adds an emergency signalling option. Recording and playback functions let you capture and replay messages on demand. A carrying strap and ergonomic grip keep the unit comfortable during extended use.

Event staff and outdoor leaders

Organisers, coaches, safety officers and cheer squads who need voice amplification across a field or campus will find the range and siren useful. Users who require a fixed-installation PA system or mains-powered operation should consider other equipment. The handheld format is not suited to permanent mounting or continuous high-duty-cycle use.

Check power and media compatibility

Verify that the rechargeable battery arrangement matches your charging routine and that spare cells are available if needed. Confirm that your USB flash drives or SD cards use a file system the recorder can read. Ensure the operating environment falls within the temperature and moisture limits the unit is rated for.

Questions about this item

What power source do I need to have ready for the rechargeable battery?

The megaphone runs on a built-in rechargeable battery; you only need a way to charge it via the supplied charging method.

Will the 10 W output still carry 200 m if I am speaking over a noisy crowd?

The 10 W rating and 200 m range are specified for clear projection; background noise may reduce effective distance.

How can I confirm the siren and recording functions are active after I turn it on?

Press the dedicated Siren button to hear the alarm tone and use the Record and Play buttons to capture and replay a short test message.
