Outdoor PA horn for long-range voice and alerts

The 5 Core SUH-150 is a 6-inch horn speaker built for outdoor public-address use. Its 8-ohm impedance matches most amplifiers and PA mixers, and the included wiring lets you connect it straight out of the box. An adjustable bracket allows flexible aiming on walls, poles or vehicle roofs.

Sustained output stays at 20 watts

Continuous programme power is rated at 20 watts, while short transients can reach 100 watts without damage. The 400 Hz to 5 kHz frequency range keeps speech intelligible over distance, and the ABS enclosure resists rain, snow and temperature extremes during extended operation.

Replaces smaller megaphones or indoor paging horns

The jump is worth it when you need projected sound across car parks, school grounds or market stalls rather than room-level coverage. It is not suited for high-fidelity music playback or installations that demand sub-400 Hz response.

Questions about this item

Does the 20 W RMS rating mean the 6" horn runs cool during all-day announcements?

The 20 W continuous rating keeps heat low for extended use; the ABS housing dissipates warmth without a fan.

What amplifier output do I need to drive the 8 Ω SUH-150?

Any amp rated for 8 Ω loads and 20–100 W per channel will power the horn correctly.

Can I keep my vintage 8 Ω PA mixer and just swap in this 150 mm driver?

Yes, the 8 Ω impedance matches legacy gear and the included wiring lets you connect directly.
