35 W RMS PA horn speaker

The 5 Core SUH-300 is a compact horn loudspeaker rated at 35 W RMS and 8 ohms nominal impedance. It is built for outdoor announcements, vehicle paging or public-address systems where clear voice projection is the priority. The ABS housing and included mounting bracket allow quick installation on walls, poles or vehicle roofs.

400 Hz to 5 kHz frequency range

The driver reproduces only the mid-band frequencies that carry speech intelligibility, so music reproduction will lack bass and high treble detail. Its 8 ohm load suits most small PA amplifiers, but the limited bandwidth means it cannot serve as a full-range main speaker for entertainment audio.

Replaces smaller megaphones

The step up is worthwhile when you need continuous 35 W output with weatherproof construction and a fixed mounting point. It is not suited for users who require stereo music playback, sub-bass extension or wireless streaming features.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 35 W max or the 20 W RMS version for my amplifier?

The speaker is a single SUH-300 model rated at 35 W max and 20 W RMS; match your amplifier to the 20 W RMS figure for continuous output.

What does the 400 Hz to 5 kHz range mean for voice announcements outdoors?

That range covers the core speech frequencies, so voice and siren tones stay clear and intelligible at distance.

How does the 8 ohm impedance affect which amplifiers I can use?

The 8 ohm load works with most PA amplifiers and car audio systems, allowing straightforward wiring without special matching.
