What the product is and who it is for

Blades of Fire is a new action-adventure game from MercurySteam, published by 505 Games. You play as Aran de Lira, forging custom weapons to battle enemies turned to divine metal. The PC download activates on the Epic Games platform and requires a Windows 10 system with at least 16GB memory. Buyers in blocked regions such as CN, IN, JP, RU and others cannot activate this title.

How it behaves under sustained load rather than

The game demands a processor equivalent to an Intel Core i7-11700KF or AMD Ryzen 5800X alongside a GTX 1070 with 8GB video memory for minimum playable performance. Extended sessions will stress both CPU and GPU continuously as combat encounters and weapon-crafting systems run simultaneously. Systems meeting only the listed minimums may see frame-rate drops during prolonged fights or heavy forging sequences.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

As a digital download, the product itself produces no heat, noise or power draw beyond the storage write during installation. Actual thermals and acoustics depend entirely on the host hardware running the game. A PC equipped with the minimum specified components will generate typical gaming-load heat and fan noise while the title is active.

Questions about this item

Will this game push my GTX 1070 hard enough to run hot and loud all day?

The minimum graphics requirement lists a GTX 1070 with 8 GB, so the card will be working near its baseline; expect normal load temperatures and fan noise for a modern action title.

Do I need an Epic Games account before I can play Blades of Fire?

Yes, the product requires an Epic Games account for activation and installation; the game will not launch without one.

Can I run this on my older Windows 10 PC with a Ryzen 5800X and 16 GB of RAM?

Those components meet the published minimum specifications (Windows 10, Ryzen 5800X, 16 GB), so the game should launch and run at baseline settings.
