Borderwatch: Dark Armada — Co-op Survival

Borderwatch: Dark Armada is a new Steam downloadable action game from 5Deniz Publishing. Players join up to three teammates in third-person co-operative survival across maps set in capitals such as Istanbul, Abu Dhabi and Moscow. The game released on July 31, 2023 and requires a Steam account for activation.

Digital delivery and Steam integration

The product arrives as an online code with no physical media, so installation begins the moment the key is redeemed on Steam. Spoken dialogue uses English while menus and subtitles cover Arabic, English, French, German, Russian and Turkish. A persistent internet connection is required for the Steam DRM and multiplayer sessions.

From solo shooters to squad-based extraction

The design replaces lone-wolf zombie shooters with strategy-driven squad play where helicopters depart every 10 days. Infected creatures adapt to their regional environments, demanding coordinated looting and movement rather than pure firepower. Groups wanting structured extraction cycles will benefit; players seeking a single-player campaign or larger raids will not.
