Universal Garage Keypad

The 877MAX wireless keypad provides keyless entry for LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Craftsman garage door openers manufactured since 1993. It operates on 315 and 390 MHz frequencies and works with yellow, purple, red, orange and green learn buttons. Homeowners and small businesses can control up to three separate openers using individual PIN codes.

Replaces 877 and 878 Models

This unit replaces legacy 877MAX and 878MAX keypads without changing wiring or mounting hardware. The upgrade is worth it when the original keypad fails, when a household needs temporary PINs for visitors, or when a single keypad must manage multiple garage doors. Programming a new four-digit code takes only a few minutes.

Rolling Code Security

Security+2.0 rolling code technology generates a new transmission code every activation, preventing replay attacks during daily use. The keypad runs on a standard 9-volt battery and is not designed for rechargeable cells. The anti-tailgating and emergency braking functions described in the manual operate consistently over repeated cycles.
