Rugged tablet with integrated projector

The 8849 Tank Pad runs Android 14 on a 10.95 inch display rated at 700 nits. It is built for outdoor workers, campers and emergency crews who need a single device that can survive water, dust and drops while still projecting a 100 lumen image onto any flat surface.

Projector and connectivity limits

The built‑in projector delivers 100 lumens, so usable image size and contrast depend heavily on ambient light and projection distance. The tablet supports three connection types and includes 5G cellular plus Wi‑Fi, but actual throughput will vary with carrier coverage, network congestion and local signal conditions.

Build quality and daily implications

An IP68 rating means the chassis withstands immersion and dust ingress without extra cases. The 21000 mAh battery and 66 W charger reduce downtime on long shifts, while the 800 lumen camping light adds area illumination. A single memory slot limits internal expansion, though 512 GB storage and a 2 TB card ceiling cover most field data needs.
