Compatible since 1993

This remote works with every LiftMaster opener produced since January 1993 and with Chamberlain and Sears Craftsman models. A single unit can control up to three separate garage doors, gates or MyQ accessories. Security+ 2.0 rolling-code technology keeps each transmission unique and secure. Programming takes only seconds using the included instructions.

Homeowners needing multi-door control

The remote suits households that operate several garage doors or a mix of doors and gates from one handset. Renters or owners of pre-1993 openers without a compatible receiver will not be able to use it. Buyers who require smartphone app integration should look at a MyQ hub instead. The fixed visor clip limits mounting options to a vehicle sun visor.

Three-device capacity

One remote manages up to three Security+ 2.0 devices, providing enough headroom for a typical two-door garage plus a gate. A CR2032 coin cell powers the transmitter and is already installed. The unit measures 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D including packaging. Adding a fourth door or gate would require an additional remote.
