Retro 18 Mechanical Numpad M Edition

The 8BitDo Retro 18 is a wireless mechanical number keypad that doubles as a standalone calculator. It connects to Windows 10 (1903) or later and Android 9.0 or later via Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4G wireless, or wired USB. The dedicated shortcut button launches the Windows Calculator app instantly. It is designed for users who want a compact numeric entry tool with retro aesthetics.

18 keys with hot-swappable Kailh Box White V2

The keypad provides 18 mechanical keys featuring dye-sub PBT keycaps and n-key rollover support. In PC numpad mode it handles data entry and spreadsheet work comfortably. In standalone calculator mode the nine-digit seven-segment display performs basic arithmetic without a host device. The hot-swappable PCB allows switch changes without soldering. It is not suited for users who need a full keyboard layout or additional macro keys.

Three connection modes with 160-hour battery life

The device runs up to 160 use hours on a full charge, which takes four hours. Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4G wireless links keep the desk free of cables during normal use, while the wired USB option provides a direct connection when preferred. The top-mount construction and mechanical switches produce audible click feedback typical of Box White V2 switches. It is not intended for silent office environments.

Questions about this item

Will the Retro 18 numpad work with the 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard I already own?

Yes, it is designed as the perfect companion to that keyboard and connects via Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4G wireless or wired USB to Windows 10 1903+ or Android 9.0+ devices.

How can I verify the Kailh Box White V2 switches and n-key rollover are functioning after setup?

Use the 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2 to update firmware, then test every key in PC numpad mode; n-key rollover means all 18 keys register simultaneously without ghosting.

Does the box include the 2.4G adapter and USB cable, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains the Retro 18 Mechanical Numpad, a 2.4G adapter, a USB cable and the instruction manual; no extra accessories are required for any connection mode.
