Xbox-Inspired Wireless Mouse

The 8BitDo Retro R8 Xbox Edition is a wireless mouse officially licensed by Xbox and styled after the original transparent green console. It targets gamers and productivity users who want a compact input device with a distinctive retro aesthetic. The mouse supports claw and fingertip grip styles for precise handling. Its charging dock stores the wireless adapter and extends the signal for reliable connectivity.

Three-Mode Connectivity Limits

The mouse connects via Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless using the included adapter, or wired USB-C. The dock’s signal-extension function helps maintain a stable link in the 2.4G mode. Bluetooth and wired options provide alternatives when a USB port is unavailable or when lower latency is preferred. No other wireless protocols or connection types are supported by this device.

PAW 3395 Sensor Range

The PAW 3395 sensor delivers six sensitivity steps from 50 DPI to 26000 DPI and polling rates from 125 Hz to 8000 Hz. This range covers everyday office work and high-speed gaming scenarios. Users who require DPI settings below 50 or polling rates above 8000 Hz will find the hardware does not extend further. Four programmable side buttons add extra command capacity for macros or shortcuts.

Questions about this item

Which sensitivity level should I pick for the PAW 3395 sensor?

The sensor offers six steps from 50 DPI to 26000 DPI; choose a lower step for precise work and a higher step for fast gaming movements.

What does the 8000 Hz polling rate mean in daily use?

At 8000 Hz the mouse reports its position eight thousand times per second, giving smoother cursor motion and lower click latency in supported games.

How does the 2.4 GHz wireless mode connect to the PC?

A small USB adapter plugs into the computer; the charging dock holds the adapter and extends its signal for a more stable link.
