Compatible Switch Gamepad

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C is a wireless gamepad designed for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 via Bluetooth. It features Hall Effect joysticks with metal rings, a refined D-pad, clicky bumpers, extra R4/L4 buttons and 6-axis motion control. Turbo function and rumble vibration are included. The controller measures 15 centimeters high and weighs .34 kilograms.

Best for Switch Players

This pad suits players who want Hall Effect sticks and extra back buttons on Switch hardware without using configuration software. Wake-on-shake is not supported on Switch 2, so buyers who rely on that feature should look elsewhere. It is not for gamers who need a wired connection or compatibility with platforms outside the Switch family.

Hall Effect Joysticks

The defining specification is the Hall Effect joystick mechanism with wear-resistant metal rings, which removes stick drift from the equation. If drift-free analogue control is the priority, this part meets it; if analogue stick technology is not a concern, other controllers may cost less.
