Each module uses a 4Rx4 organisation, presenting four logical ranks per DIMM to the memory controller. This rank density allows the kit to reach 128 GB in only two slots, but the platform must explicitly support 4Rx4 LRDIMM population rules for the memory to initialise correctly.
