This 16GB DDR3L 1333MHz registered DIMM adds error-correcting memory to compatible HP server and workstation platforms. The module runs at 1.35V with CL9 latency and a 2Rx4 organisation. It targets administrators who need to expand capacity in existing DDR3L systems.

DDR3L 1333MHz registered DIMM limits

The DDR3L interface caps transfer rates at PC3L-10600 and requires a 240-pin registered slot with ECC support. Registered signalling adds a clock cycle of latency versus unbuffered modules, so throughput is bound by the 1333MHz bus and the platform memory controller. Mixed-voltage or non-ECC boards cannot use this module.
