Capacity and headroom at 2133 MHz

The 16GB dual-rank stick handles virtualisation hosts, ZFS caches and multi-VM labs with comfortable headroom for concurrent services. Workloads that exceed 16GB of active pages will swap to storage, increasing latency. The CL15 timing and 2133 MHz bus deliver standard JEDEC throughput; heavier compute tasks may benefit from higher-frequency modules if the platform allows them.

ECC unbuffered requirement decides fit

The defining specification is ECC unbuffered operation on a 260-pin DDR4 SO-DIMM interface. Only platforms that explicitly support ECC SO-DIMMs will initialise the module and enable error correction.
