Installation Notes

The 288 pin DIMM fits standard DDR4 server slots and operates at the DDR4 standard voltage of 1.2 V. Because it is a registered dual rank 2Rx4 module, the platform memory controller must support registered ECC RDIMMs; installing it in a board that only accepts unbuffered memory will prevent the system from posting. Verify the qualified vendor list before purchase.

DDR4 Interface Limits

DDR4 2400 PC4 19200 sets the maximum transfer rate for this module and CL17 defines its baseline latency. Registered buffering adds one clock cycle of command delay compared with unbuffered memory, which is normal for the RDIMM standard.
