Eight 32 GB DDR3 1333 ECC registered modules provide 256 GB of quad-rank server memory at 1.5 V
Capacity 256GB (8 x 32GB)
This 256 GB kit contains eight 32 GB DDR3 ECC RDIMM modules built for registered server and workstation platforms only. It will not function in desktop or laptop systems that require unbuffered memory.
Registered buffering and ECC protect data integrity during continuous multi-threaded workloads, while 1.5 V operation keeps power draw predictable across all eight modules under extended uptime.
Each 240-pin DIMM must be seated in the correct channel order specified by the system manual; mixing quad-rank 4Rx4 modules with other ranks or exceeding the platform's maximum supported capacity per channel will prevent boot.
Measured against everything we stock in ECC Server RAM, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
Each 32GB module operates at the standard DDR3 voltage of 1.5V; total system draw depends on the platform's memory controller and how many of the eight DIMM slots are populated.
The board must support DDR3 registered ECC memory, accept 240-pin DIMMs, and be qualified for quad-rank x4 modules at 1333 MHz.
Mixing 4Rx4 and 2Rx4 or 2Rx8 DIMMs is platform-dependent; consult the server vendor's memory population rules before combining ranks.
