The load-reduced ECC architecture buffers both data and address signals to lessen the electrical load on the memory controller. This allows higher module densities such as this 64GB 4Rx4 configuration to operate at 3200 MT/s. The module uses Samsung chipsets and runs at the standard 1.20V DDR4 voltage. Systems without LRDIMM support cannot use this module.

DDR4 288-Pin Interface Limits

The DDR4 288-pin interface used here is keyed differently from other DDR generations and will not fit UDIMM or RDIMM slots. Maximum speed is limited to the DDR4 3200 JEDEC standard supported by the platform. Mixed populations with RDIMMs may force lower speeds or prevent boot.
