Aastra 6867i SIP Desktop Phone

The Aastra 6867i is a 9-line SIP desktop phone built for professionals who manage multiple simultaneous calls. It delivers HD wideband audio and an enhanced speakerphone with dual microphones for clearer hands-free conversations. The 3.5-inch QVGA color display shows call details at 320 x 240 pixels. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports connect the phone and a PC to the network.

Dual 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet Ports

The single specification that decides fit is the dual-port Gigabit Ethernet switch. It passes 1000 Mbps throughput to a connected computer while the phone itself remains on the network. If your infrastructure only provides 10/100 Mbps drops, the ports will negotiate down, but you lose the gigabit pass-through that justifies this model. Power over Ethernet is required because no power supply is included.

9 Lines with 2 Dedicated Keys

Nine programmable line appearances and two dedicated line keys with LEDs handle heavy call volumes for receptionists or executives. Six soft keys and four context-sensitive system keys expand one-touch functions. The adjustable stand locks at 35° or 60° for desk or wall viewing. Buyers who need more than nine concurrent lines or a built-in Bluetooth radio should consider other models.

Questions about this item

What does the 3.5-inch QVGA color display show in daily use?

The 3.5-inch screen renders 320 by 240 pixels, giving clear caller ID, call logs, menu navigation and soft-key labels for the six programmable keys.

What do the dual Gigabit Ethernet ports limit in practice?

Each port handles 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps, so the phone caps at wired Gigabit speed and can pass that throughput to a daisy-chained PC.

How much desk space does the adjustable stand need at its two angles?

The stand locks at 35° or 60°, letting you choose a lower or steeper profile without changing the phone's footprint.
